I support President Barack Obama's plan to use selective targeting to halt the use of poison gas on the citizens of the country of Syria for several reasons.
Obama has shown great restraint in dealing with military matters in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
He has gotten us out of two wars and has assisted, without embroiling us, in another war in Libya.
He knows more than we do, and all of the information cannot be broadcast without compromising our intelligence or plans of attack.
As a world leader and head of the most powerful nation on earth, he feels responsible to act in the face of ruthless, unconscionable loss of innocent lives.
In short, I trust his judgment, especially when supported by the military staff and many members of Congress.
