It is evident from all of the bellyaching from our transplanted progressive liberal contingency that U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford is the current obsession.
According to a recent letter writer, Elizabeth Colbert Bush, although in possession of no previous political experience, would lead our state into an enlightened era of the new Democrats with forward-thinking ideas.
I would pose this hypothetical question for the writer to consider:
Would Colbert Bush, as a rookie congresswoman in possession of one vote, be able to quell the stench of corruption emanating from the current administration, or would she, if elected, fall in lockstep, like a good little foot soldier, and support the tyranny and overreach of Big Brother?
