A recent letter writer routinely goes over the top to be divisive and insulting to anyone who doesn't share her "progressive" ideology.
In her letter Sunday, she attempted to take the moral high ground and chastise someone for rhetorical incivility. It was beyond hypocritical. The majority of her letter, like most of what she writes, is aimed at insulting, belittling and demonizing conservatives. The fact that she chose to slip skinheads into a sentence on equal footing with conservatives, tea partiers, et. al, is but one example of the deceptive rhetoric she and others use to poison your readers against all things conservative.
Like all Americans, she has the right to speak her mind, and she can express her opinion in this newspaper if you choose to allow it. I ask you to extend the same courtesy to this conservative reader and print this letter. Let your readers decide. What do we have in Sunday's letter writer, an ambassador for good will and hospitality or a partisan hypocrite?
