I concur with the column on the May 14 editorial page, "In Benghazi, as with all things political, it's the cover-up that counts." It couldn't be more accurate.
I have a few things that I would like to add.
I don't know how many of you have seen the video of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton being questioned by a Senate committee on the attack at the U.S. consulate in Benghzai, but she went into a rage when she made this statement:
"Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night and decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?"
Never miss a local story.
It makes a lot of difference because she did not do her job.
Now we have former U.S. Sen. John Kerry as secretary of state. He protested the war in Vietnam along with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda. Maybe those two should protest what has happened here, but it wouldn't matter because it was Americans who were killed.
Wake up, people, and see the mistake that was made with the re-election of President Barack Obama. There has been nothing but cover-up and lies from the election in 2008 forward.
Look closely at the people surrounding him. We will be in real trouble unless he gets impeached or resigns. One thing for sure, he will never take away my American patriotism.
That is what difference it makes.
