Sandalwood Community Food Pantry thanks Hilton Head Island Community Church

The Sandalwood Community Food Pantry has been blessed abundantly with the gifts of time and talents given by the Hilton Head Island Community Church.

The church's desire and mission to complete 30 projects in the 30 days for the month of April resulted in the building of much-needed shelves for our pantry. We can now shelve much more fresh fruit, vegetables, canned and boxed staples, breads and desserts and meats and dairy, on a safer and more stable shelving system. We also can shelve the many other offerings church members delivered to our pantry, including toiletries and diapers.

Hilton Head Island Community Church is our blessing and its gifts will allow us to continue to serve even more to those who hunger on Hilton Head Island, especially children, because hunger hurts.

Please come visit us at our pantry, website or Facebook page; we enjoy making new friends.

The Rev. Dr. Nannette Pierson

Executive director
