The Deep Well Project thanks Area in Motion group for donations

On behalf of The Deep Well Project, I would like to thank Melissa Ledbetter and her wonderful group of Hilton Head Island Middle School students for their participation in this year's AIM walk.

AIM (Area In Motion) was founded by Ledbetter, who is a physical education teacher at the school. The group sponsored a walk-run for the entire Hilton Head area and combined it with a canned food drive to benefit Deep Well and Bluffton Self Help. This wonderful event and a group of very committed and community-minded students gathered more than 3,000 cans of food for the less fortunate.

My husband and I, the Voices of El Shadai, and many others marched side by side with these great kids and were inspired by their dedication. We at Deep Well are very grateful not only for the gift of much needed food, but also for the amazing commitment shown by these young people and their leader. Thank you all so very much.
