I have read quite a few letters recently from President Barack Obama's supporters defending his administration, policies, etc.
All of our conversations on how effective the president has been for the past 39 months can be distilled down to one fact. The Obama administration has added more debt -- $5 trillion -- then all presidents from George Washington to the third year of Bill Clinton's first term combined.
I know the Obama supporters will counter that President George W. Bush added $4.9 trillion in debt. Nothing to brag about there either, but that was over eight years in office, and with a Democratic-controlled Congress his last two years.
All of this is before the infamous "Obamacare" kicks in completely -- if the Supreme Court does not intervene.
The debt load is more than $16,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States. Obama and his administration are spending us into oblivion and we will become the next Greece, a debtor nation, depending on the largesse of other nations.
Guess that "hope and change" has not worked out too well.
