The Town of Hilton Head Island’s Vision Project Management Team (VPMT) is grateful to the many in our diverse community who have joined us in the first steps of shaping our collective future.
Over the last year, the team has been guiding a broad community-wide process to create a vision for the future of our island. This process has involved more than 4,500 hours of community stakeholder dialogue.
The town’s vision consultant delivered the long-awaited report on Feb. 16. That report, the Vision and Strategic Action Plan, along with all of the other project reports and the extensive data gathered are available online now at:
Never miss a local story.
You can view the consultant’s presentation at this link:
We encourage all to remain engaged: read the full report, share with us your thoughts, and offer your ideas for moving forward by taking an online survey, available here:
We look forward to the development of a plan for prioritization, for community engagement, a timeline, and communications. From the quality of the input gathered, we obviously have a community that took this effort seriously.
The team believes, after this amazing start, that the community is up to the challenge of taking a positive, proactive approach to developing our preferred future. This preferred future for Hilton Head Island is bright, and we look forward to travelling there together.
