Homeless veterans are getting some much needed housing in North Charleston, WIS TV reports.
Patriot Villas, a housing complex targeted specifically at homeless vets, will begin moving in veterans in August, according to WIS TV.
The complex has 74 rooms, said WIS TV’s report, each with a twin bed, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. There will also be counseling services, a recreation area, and a place for residents to do their laundry.
According to a news release sent to WIS TV, the intent of Patriot Villas is to “combat the plague of homelessness one veteran at a time."
