A Bluffton man died Thursday morning after a crash on Bluffton Parkway caused by what witnesses said appeared to be medical distress.
William Roe, 49, of Bluffton died after the vehicle he drove westbound crossed both lanes, the median and both eastbound lanes before coming to a stop against a tree near the 4000 block around 9:30 a.m., according to a Bluffton Police Department news release.
No other injuries or damage was reported.
The crash closed both eastbound lanes for approximately two hours, the release said.
