The Town of Bluffton will install no-parking and three-hour parking signs throughout Old Town starting Dec. 5.
No-parking signs will be placed on Lawrence, Lawton and Church streets.
Three-hour parking limit signs will be installed at DuBois Park and on both sides of Calhoun Street from the intersection of May River Road to Bridge Street, according to a town news release. The three-hour parking zones are intended to ensure prime parking spaces are available for visitors, business patrons and residents, the release said.
Construction notice signs will be posted on site to notify residents and business owners of exact construction dates and times.
Never miss a local story.
Also on Dec. 5, the town plans to begin striping no-parking zones along Bluffton Road from Bruin Road to Johnston Way, according to the release.
Drivers are asked to use caution while crews are painting stripes and installing signs.
