Main Street Inn & Spa earns Expedia honor

The Main Street Inn & Spa on Hilton Head Island recently received the Expedia Insider's Select award from the online travel company for the second consecutive year.

The honor is based on travelers' hotel reviews and is awarded only to the top 1 percent of all hotels offered on Expedia.

Hotels that receive the designation are recognized for service, guest experience and value.

The 33-room inn, managed by

Festiva Resorts, received a score of 94.39 out of 100 and ranked 39th out of 850 overall.

The property was third in the rankings among 24 properties chosen in South Carolina and was the only property on Hilton Head Island to receive the award.
