The 66 students of the Hardeeville High School Class of 2009 graduated Friday in the school gym.
Total amount of scholarship money earned by the graduates: $1.04 million
Speakers: The valedictorian and the salutatorian.
Valedictorian: Krystal Brown earned a 4.3 grade point average and will study criminal justice at The Citadel.
Salutatorian: Shanté Bolden earned a 4.2 grade point average and will join the U.S. Air Force and be an integrated avionics apprentice.
