Woman: Boyfriend urinated on cat

A lover's quarrel escalated when a man allegedly urinated on the couple's cat, according to a Beaufort County sheriff's report released Monday.

The couple had gone out for drinks and argued in the car on the way back to their Hilton Head Island home.

A 27-year-old woman called the police at 10:30 p.m. Friday after her 33-year-old boyfriend went in the bathroom and urinated on the cat, she told a deputy.

The deputy checked on the cat, which reportedly appeared to be fine. The man denied his girlfriend's allegation.

No charges were filed.
