Car break-in

• Mitchell Court -- $55 stolen from Chevrolet van.

Grand theft auto

• Mitchell Court -- 2000 Toyota Camry worth $11,000 stolen and later recovered.

Vandalism

• Flat Rock Trace -- Ignition and electrical system of 1999 Mercury Cougar broken. Damage: $250.

Theft

• Buckingham Plantation Drive -- Trailer worth $1,200 stolen.

• Reader's Digest Outlet, 1270 Fording Island Road -- $120 in cash stolen from cash register.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Burglary

• Atlantic Pointe Drive -- Electronics worth $1,600 stolen from home.

Car break-ins

• Northridge Plaza, 435 William Hilton Parkway -- Stereo worth $300 and tools worth $100 stolen from 1996 Pontiac Grand Am. Window smashed. Damage: $50.

• Pineland Station, 430 William Hilton Parkway -- Cell phone worth $100 stolen from 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. Window smashed. Damage: $200.

Theft

• Holiday Inn Oceanfront, 1 South Forest Beach Drive -- $2,000 in cash stolen from hotel office.

• Piggly Wiggly, 1 North Forest Beach Drive -- iPod worth $200, cell phone worth $100 and $40 in cash stolen from basket of unattended bike.

• 72 Pope Avenue -- Bike worth $150 stolen.

Vandalism

• Comfort Inn & Suites, 2 Tanglewood Drive -- 2007 Toyota Tacoma dented. Damage: $1,200.

• Victoria Square, Leg O Mutton Road -- Security gate broken. Damage: $800.

• Coligny Beach Park, 1 Coligny Circle -- Beer bottle thrown through window of town office. Damage: $400.

• Sea Crest, 10 North Forest Beach Drive -- Security gate broken. Damage: $400.

• The Village at Wexford, 1000 William Hilton Parkway -- Window of 2005 Honda Civic smashed. Damage: $300.

• Coligny Beach parking lot, 1 Coligny Circle -- 2004 Chevrolet Malibu scratched. Damage: $300.

• Hilton Head Gardens, 11 Southwood Park Drive -- Billiard ball thrown through window of home. Damage: $250.

• William Hilton Parkway at Folly Field Road -- Unknown object thrown at 2006 Volvo. Damage: $200.

• Mathews Drive and Island Drive -- Unknown object thrown at 2000 Honda. Damage: $200.

• Northridge Plaza, 435 William Hilton Parkway -- Window of 1989 Lincoln Town Car smashed. Damage: $200.

• Palmetto Bay Marina Villas, 70 Paddleboat Lane -- Glue put in door lock. Damage: $100.
