A spooked deer jumped through the glass door of a Hilton Head Island office building, causing minor damage before finding its way out.
Landscapers accidentally scared the deer while blowing leaves near the Office Park Road building at about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The deer ran through the glass door, injuring itself, but continued to run through the building, leaving fur and blood behind. It eventually exited through the broken door and disappeared.
Damage to the building was estimated at $600.
