The award-winning nature series “Coastal Kingdom,” currently airing on The County Channel, will premier at 9 p.m. Tuesday on ETV’s South Carolina Channel. The "Strategies for Survival" episode will feature coachwhip snakes, armadillos, snapping shrimp and other Lowcountry animals that are adapted for survival, according to a Beaufort County news release.
“Coastal Kingdom” is an educational television show, highlighting animals living in the Lowcountry and is produced in partnership with the LowCountry Institute. “The program has been airing on The County Channel Wednesday evenings for the last three years and will continue to hold that spot, but now with SCETV picking up the show, as well, more children across the state will be able to benefit from the lessons presented," the show's host, Tony Mills, said in the release. The show will be seen statewide on the SCETV network. Viewers in the Beaufort County area can catch it on Hargray Channel 109, according to the news release.
