I came across this situation while I was out hunting for features.
I was wandering around Bluffton trying to find an interesting situation to take photos of to publish in the paper the following day. I had been to the pier in Old Town Bluffton at the end of Calhoun Street before but had never come across anthing that was intersting enough to photograph. On this particular afternoon there was a father with his three kids on the pier fishing. I spent a few minutes taking photographs of the family and during that time I noticed that the young boy had placed himself so that he was perfectly centered at the bottom of the ramp. It is a very quiet moment but I love the graphic lines of the ramp and the cool colors in this photograph. earlb. 1/14/13.
