As Bluffton grows, annual Christmas parade gets more and more fun

For many years I was in charge of the Bluffton Christmas Parade. Trying to decide who the grand marshal would be each year was one of my favorite things. I spent many sleepless nights on my quest for the perfect person. I invited presidents, and even got a reply from one of them -- Jimmy Carter, who said he was too busy at the moment to make the trip to Bluffton. I was sad, but I understood. Later I found out it had something to do with the shah of Iran.
