Ian Lee, a 2009 graduate of Hilton Island Head High School, and the son of Robert and Elaine Lee, is part of the Winthrop University's Percussion Ensemble that recently won the 2012 International World Music Percussion Ensemble Competition Award. The ensemble will be perform Oct. 31-Nov. 3 in Austin, Texas. Ian plays the mbira.
