The Governor's School for Science and Mathematics will host GoSciTech, a summer camp program that includes physics, chemistry, robotics, electronics and programming, anatomy and marine biology. The school's Junior Leadership class met three Beaufort County leaders March 26: Sen. Tom Davis, Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling and Rep. Shannon Erickson. The group discussed the roles of government, local issues and how to develop solutions. The students learned more about how to become and active citizen in the community. They also spent part of the day learning about Beaufort's past through a carriage ride with the Southern Rose Buggy Tour Company.
MOSSY OAKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
