Project Connect is a partnership between the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and local schools to help teachers get supplies or services.
Hilton Head Island Elementary School teacher Treva Kent recently had her wish for healthy snacks for four days for approximately 60 kids involved with the production of "The Tortoise and the Hare" granted by Pino Gelato. The restaurant's Clair Tulas served snacks the first night of the auditions to all the kids.
