The second annual Coastal Clean Water Festival will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 27 at Shelter Cove Harbour on Hilton Head Island. The school will present a free evening of music, food and environmental education. Festivities will include live music, bounce houses, local food vendors and educational booths for environmental groups. Back-to-school nights will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 31 for Pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade at M.C. Riley Early Childhood Center; and Sept. 1 for grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 at M.C. Riley Elementary School.
Parents or guardians of all students, including returning students, must complete a registration packet and submit two proofs of residency (a lease or mortgage statement and a utility bill) each year. If you have not done so, stop by the school and complete this process.

Kindergarten parents are invited to join the PTO for light refreshments today in the school cafeteria.
