John Rypperda Wierdsma, 80, of Okatie and husband of Susan Salant Wierdsma, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at his residence.Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the St. Francis statue on Spring Island.Donations may be made to the Spring Island Trust Foundation, 40 Mobley Oaks Lane, Okatie, SC 29909.Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory.
