More than 10 cars were broken into overnight Monday in neighboring Bluffton communities, according to Beaufort County Sheriff's Office reports.
Residents of Windtree and Meadowbrook told deputies they discovered Tuesday their cars had been opened and rummaged, according to the reports.
Only three people reported items missing -- a knife and iPad 3 worth a total of $1,350, two gift cards and several prescription pills.
The break-ins took place on Willow Run, Poplar Court, Bent Oak Court and Old Farm Road, the reports stated.

Several victims said they remembered locking their cars Monday, though no residents reported any damage to their vehicles. An investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
