Two Bluffton teenagers have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a Hilton Head Island theater owner, who was knocked unconscious.
Jacklyn Marie Perez, 18, allegedly drove 19-year-old Austin Lewis McQuarters to Northridge Plaza late Oct. 20, knowing he planned to commit a robbery, a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release states.
Upon arriving at Northridge Plaza Cinema 10, McQuarters approached theater owner, John Snodgrass, 56, as he walked to his car and punched him in the face, leaving him unconscious, according to the Sheriff's Office.
McQuarters allegedly grabbed Snodgrass' deposit bag, containing more than $4,000, and fled with Perez driving the getaway car, the release said.

McQuarters was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with armed robbery and first-degree assault and battery. Perez was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with armed robbery. Both were awaiting bond hearings Wednesday evening at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
