The general manager of Bloody Point Resort said staff spent hours locating five golf carts stolen from the resort’s barn on July 31, according to a Beaufort County Sheriffs Office report.
All the carts were found but three of them were a complete loss because of damages, the report states.
One of the carts was found in a pond, another flipped over and the third was discovered in the marsh, the report states. It says the other two vehicles also received damage.
A video captured three white males on the property after hours but the quality of the image made it difficult to identify the suspects, the report states.
