During the eight-week program, Henderson completed a variety of training, including classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. Physical fitness was also emphasized.
Henderson is a 2004 graduate of Beaufort High School.
During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction in several areas, including basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, and rifle marksmanship.
Fripp is a 2010 graduate of Battery Creek High School and the nephew of Isaac Fripp of St. Helena Island.
