Frank Lloyd Wright's Auldbrass Plantation was featured on CBS' "Sunday Morning" today, the 300-acre treasure near Yemassee explored during a short segment for the show's focus on design.
Commentator Charles Osgood talked about the property during the segment, which went a little more than two minutes. Osgood toured the property with Hollywood producer Joel Silver, who restored the plantation after it had become dilapidated.
Auldbrass is the only plantation of the famed American architect Wright, who started the project in 1938. The property is rarely open to the public.
There is an opportunity for a tour in the fall through the Beaufort County Open Land Trust.
