A historic, century-old Bluffton home will make its move three blocks up Calhoun Street on Monday morning.
Developer Thomas Viljac's relocation of the Graves House -- from Calhoun and Allen streets to the corner of Calhoun and Lawrence streets -- will begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to by completed by about 11 a.m.
The house will be lifted onto a flatbed truck and moved up Calhoun Street in one piece. It will be backed into its new location from Calhoun Street, to avoid a large oak tree on the new property.
Viljac plans to restore the home and lease the first floor to a business. One room will be used as an office for the Bluffton Farmers Market, run by his wife, Kim Viljac.
