A St. Helena Island man has been arrested for making a threatening, profane call to 911 dispatchers, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Department report.
Henry Nathaniel Jones Jr. was charged with unlawful use of 911 Thursday; his bail was set at $5,000.
Jones previously contacted the Sheriff's Office asking for help retrieving tools from his old residence that would allow him to start working again. However, he was unsatisfied with the response from Sheriff's Office, Beaufort County judges and his lawyer, according to the report.
A deputy arrived at Jones' home after he placed the 911 call. There, Jones' girlfriend told the deputy that Jones had threatened to kill Judge Peter Fuge and a deputy before calling 911, the report said. She said Jones threatens daily to kill Fuge, deputies, and his lawyer.
