The Ohio Wesleyan men's and women's golf teams will open their spring schedules by hosting the Taylor Made-adidas Intercollegiate tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Dataw Island Club.
The men will play the Cotton Dike course, a Tom Fazio-designed course featuring newly renovated green sites and surfaces. The 14-team field includes a pair of teams ranked in the top 10 in second-ranked Wittenberg and fifth-ranked Guilford (N.C.), along with 3 other top-25 NCAA Division III teams in 14th-ranked Hampden-Sydney, 16th-ranked Concordia (Texas), and 23rd-ranked Mount St. Joseph, along with Cumberlands, the 19th-ranked team in NAIA.
The men will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
The women will play the Morgan River course designed by Arthur Hills.
Cumberlands, the fourth-ranked NAIA team, headlines the 8-team field, along with a pair of top-50 teams from NCAA Division III in 20th-ranked Wittenberg and 50th-ranked Millikin.
The women will play 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Faulkner (Ala.) won the men's tournament last year, while Savannah State took the women's title.
