Participants hit the road at the start of the Shamrock Run on Saturday. The 17th annual 5K ru  and health walk started on Pope Avenue, ended at Coligny Plaza and was followed by a block party hosted by New York City Pizza. All competitors completing the race were rewarded with a green finishers beard.
