Captain Bert Harvey and the Juggernaut landed a 20-pound king mackerel, good enough to win the 57th annual Beaufort Water Festival offshore fishing tournament Saturday and bring home the $10,000 prize.
The Juggernaut was one of 38 offshore vessels taking part in this year's tournament, now associated with the Southern Kingfish Association.
Team Old School, captained by Richard Jennings, caught a 16.2-pound king mackerel, good enough for second place and $2,500. Also from Team Old School, Grant Jennings won the junior angler division.

The Nomad, captained by Simons Hane, brought in a 33.1-pounder to win the cobia contest and $250.
As for the in-shore tournament, Banana Boat captain Lee Greene took home first place and $500 for her 4.5-pound red fish. She also landed the top female angler honor.
Finishing second and third in red fish, respectively, were Alex Pennekarys and the Tan Clan and Lucas Posey and the Salty Nutz.
Pennekarys and the Tan Clan came out on top in the battle for sheepshead, claiming the $500 top prize. Posey and the Salty Nutz were second.
As for flounder, Billy Plair and the Rauger One had a 2.42-pound catch worth $500 and first place. Greene and the Banana Boat were second.
