Bluffton resident Robert Manning fell short of the $100,000 grand prize in a contest to start a new life in Pittsburgh.
"It would have been nice to win, but it actually made me think and concentrate on what's important and where home is," said Manning, who was born in Pittsburgh. "For me, home is Pittsburgh."
Manning, 50, said he's hoping to open an office in Pittsburgh for his wedding-film production company and keep an office in Bluffton.
The Experienced Dreamers contest was created by several foundations in Pittsburgh to create new interest in the city among people 45 and older. The winner, a woman near Buffalo, N.Y., was determined by an online poll.
