A Bluffton Town Hall employee and a town councilor have graduated from Municipal Association of South Carolina training programs.
Trinity Funk, executive assistant to Bluffton Police Chief David McAllister, graduated this spring from the Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Institute. Participants must complete more than 100 hours of classes that cover topics including how to run meetings, keep records and conduct elections.
Councilor Michael Raymond graduated from the Municipal Elected Officials Institute of Government in February. The program, which began in 1986, is designed to educate officials on the Freedom of Information Act, budgeting, zoning and economic development, among other things.
