Jack Smith of Knoxville, Tenn., fired back-to-back rounds of 74 and needed extra holes to survive a three-way playoff with Japan's Shota Ozaki and Thailand's Sun Wongaiwate and win the Boys 15-19 Division at the International Junior Golf Tour's event this past weekend at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
Ozaki and Wongaiwate are full-time students at the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy on Hilton Head Island.
Germany's Carolin Schart shot rounds of 77 and 71 edge IJGA classmate Yi Chen Liu of Taiwan by three strokes.
Chase Roswall of Bristol, Tenn., won the Boys 14 & Under Division after shooting 75 and 77.
