The first Red Apron Chili Cook-Off will be Saturday at Tanger 2 Outlet Center in Bluffton.
Categories are competitive red, chili verde, salsa and homestyle.
Spectators can watch and taste competitors' cooking. Judges will be selected from local celebrity chefs and personalities. Proceeds go to Bluffton Self Help.
Competitors must be members of the International Chili Society and supply their own tent and cooking equipment. The last day to register is Wednesday. The cost to enter is $35 per cooking team per category, plus International Chili Society membership fees. Those interested can register at www.blufftonselfhelp.org.
