The following reports were released Wednesday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:
HILTON HEAD ISLAND
Royal Crest Drive: Laptop, Playstation, iPod, wine and Scotch worth $3,720 stolen from unlocked residence and vehicle.
Ocean Lane, Hilton Oceanfront Resort and Spa: Three unsecured mountain bikes worth $1,100 stolen.
Old Wild Horse Road, Lands Heating and Air: Windows in two work vans shattered and tool bags and tools worth $600 stolen. Damage: $200.
South Forest Beach Drive, the Metropolitan Hotel: Vehicle window broken and GPS unit and radar detector worth $780 stolen. Damage: $300.
Shipyard Drive, Tennis Master Villas: Unsecured bicycle worth $350 stolen.
Pope Avenue, Golden Nail and Spa: Vehicle window shattered and camera, makeup and bags worth $1,190 stolen. Damage: $450.
East Morningside Drive: Laptop worth $400 and $300 cash stolen. Damage: $100.
Fording Island Road, Saks Fifth Avenue: Seven handbags worth a total of $1,600 stolen.
Lake Linden Drive, the Village of Lake Linden: Glasses and pocket knives worth $620 stolen from unlocked vehicle.
Kensington Boulevard, Westbury Park Apartments: A deputy responded to a cellphone call about an armed holdup but was unable to locate the individual involved. The cellphone's owner said she lent the phone to an unknown, black male, who said had just been held at gunpoint and needed to call 911. The man then gave the phone back and then left in an unknown direction.
Ajuga Drive: Gun worth $600 and other goods worth $150 stolen.
Katie Parker Lane: Back windshield of 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix smashed and rear panel dented. Damage: $500.
