Man flown to Savannah after shooting
A 19-year-old man was shot multiple times and airlifted to Savannah for medical treatment in an incident Thursday on St. Helena Island, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office reports.
The man was not identified in a Sheriff's Office news release.
Deputies arrived just after 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of Seaside Road and Luther Warren Drive on St. Helena after a report of a shooting, according to the release. They found a gunshot victim with several wounds, and he was flown to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. His condition was not disclosed Thursday.

Investigators are looking for two black men driving a 1986 Crown Victiora with a red vinyl roof.
The vehicle has an S.C. license plate, GRV 882, the release said.

Beaufort gas station robbed at gunpoint
The Beaufort Police Department seeks help finding a man that robbed a gas station Wednesday night.
An employee at the Express Lane on Boundary Street told investigators that at about 11:20 p.m., a man wearing an orange and gray ski mask walked into the station, pulled a gun from his waistline and demanded money.
The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber left, heading toward the Polk Village area on foot, a news release said.
Attempts by the Sheriff's Office canine teams to track the robber were unsuccessful.
He was described as black, in his 20s, of medium height and build, wearing a white T-shirt with a black shirt over it and black sneakers.

Woman charged with stolen ATM card
A 36-year-old Bluffton woman faces charges of theft and fraud after she allegedly stole a debit card out of an ATM machine, according to a Bluffton Police Department news release.
The woman's image was captured by an ATM surveillance video at a Bank of America branch in Bluffton. The stolen card was later used at a nearby grocery store, the release said.
When the woman found out police were searching for her, she turned herself in at police headquarters. She faces one count of financial transaction card theft and four counts of financial transaction card fraud, all misdemeanors, the release said.
She was released from the Beaufort County Detention Center on her own recognizance, according to the jail log.
