Three people had non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday evening after two vehicles collided near the Broad River Bridge.
The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at the Savannah Highway and S.C. 170 intersection, according to a City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department news release.
Firefighters found a passenger sedan and pickup truck with significant damage on the front driver’s side of each vehicle. The incident blocked the roadway near the traffic light at the intersection.
The three occupants involved were evaluated by EMS at the scene.
Firefighters worked for around an hour to clear the scene.
The fire department was assisted by The Burton Fire District, the Port Royal Police Department and Beaufort County EMS.
