A father and adult son were targeted by gunfire Tuesday as they sat talking on their Lobeco front porch, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
A car pulled into the Morgan Road home’s driveway and multiple shots were fired toward the home, according to the report. The men said they didn’t recognize the car and didn’t see who was inside.
Deputies found 14 .40 caliber shell casings made by three different manufacturers in the road and the grassy shoulder, according to the report.
One of the bullets struck a window pane of the victims’ home, but no one was injured, according to the report.
