Two training sessions canceled due to Hurricane Matthew were rescheduled for Beaufort’s new online payment system for business license renewals and hospitality and accommodations tax payments.
Workshops will be held on the first floor of City Hall at 1911 Boundary Street, according to a city news release.
City Finance Director Kathy Todd will lead the workshops and help local businesses become familiar with the new process. Participants should bring their laptops or tablets, according to the release.
The goal of the new online system is to make the process simpler and more convenient, according to the release.
Sessions will be held:
▪ Thursday, Oct. 20, noon to 2 p.m.
▪ Friday, Oct. 21, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
▪ Nov. 1, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
▪ Nov. 2, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
