The Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce has launched a program to build partnerships between member businesses and local nonprofit members who assist individuals and families in need in Bluffton. The chamber's nonprofit committee has worked with participating nonprofits to list their specific volunteer needs. Area businesses can then select the organization they want to help and work on one or more of the nonprofit's needs. The chamber organizes the program, helping to match the participants.
The nonprofits include: Bluffton Area Community Association, Bluffton Self Help, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, God's Goods Thrift Store, Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, Literacy Volunteers of the Lowcountry, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, Moss Creek Marines, OSPREY Village, and Programs for Exceptional People.
