The Technical College of the Lowcountry honored 24 graduates of its associate degree in nursing program during a pinning ceremony Thursday.
In the past five years, about 215 students have completed TCL's nursing program, according to a school news release. The two-year program prepares graduates to practice as registered nurses. Students experience on-campus learning using high-tech simulation equipment and receive hands-on practice at clinical sites throughout Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton counties.
