Four PGA Tour Pros have committed to playing in this year's RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing.
John Daly, Brian Gay, Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan all confirmed they will play in the tournament, which will be April 15-21 at the Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.
The four join several other PGA Tour pros, including defending champ Carl Pettersson, KJ Cjoi, Jim Furyk, Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell, Brandt Snedeker and Boo Weekley.
This will be Daly's 10th appearance at Harbour Town, according to a news release. He has five tour wins, and recently shot his lowest round in five years at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
Gay was just named January's Avis Player of the Month by fans. He has four tour wins, most recently last month's Humana Challenge. In 2009, he won at Harbour Town by a record 10 strokes, topping Davis Love III's seven-stroke win in 1998. Gay made news at the Heritage last year when his caddy Kip Henley scared off an alligator on the 15th hole.
Johnson played the Heritage in 2007 after winning the Masters the previous week. He has nine tour wins and has earned more than $26 million. Last year, he finished solo second, five strokes behind Carl Pettersson in his eighth start.
Mahan has five tour victories, including two in 2012. He is one of four PGA Tour golfers in the boy band "Golf Boys." The others are Rickie Fowler, Ben Crane and Bubba Watson. The group has a popular YouTube video for the song "Oh Oh Oh" . The video is sponsored by Farmers Insurance, which donates $1,000 to charitable initiatives for every 100,000 views the video receives.
The entire group will be shooting for the top prize of $1,044,000 from a purse of $5,800,000.
