Candice Glover, Auditions Charlotte ~ American... by HumanSlinky
Local singer Candice Glover is taking another shot at "American Idol," and has again made it through the first round of auditions.
The 22-year-old St. Helena Island resident is a familar face on the show. This is her third time trying out.
Last night on the show, she sang a few lines of Duffy's "Syrup and Honey." Judges raved over her performance, calling it "the best audition" they had heard this season. She again has made it to the next round of the show in Hollywood.
In her last auditions, she's been selected twice to go to the semifinals in Hollywood on the show. In 2010, her first year on the show, she was eliminated after making it to the top 60 contestants. In 2012, she made it to the top 40, but was cut in the Las Vegas round of the show.
