The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident in Seabrook early Thursday that sent four people to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Deputies were called to Mae's Sports Bar on Ball Park Road at about midnight, where a 21-year-old man had been shot in the leg, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.
Witnesses told investigators that they heard multiple gunshots but did not see the shooter, the release said.
Deputies were later notified that two men, ages 20 and 23, and a 19-year-old woman had arrived at Beaufort Memorial Hospital from the club with gunshot wounds. All four were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the release said.
Investigators have not determined a motive or received enough information from witnesses to develop a description of the suspect.
The Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information to contact Investigator Sgt. Brian Chapman at 843-470-3469 or the Beaufort County Dispatch Center at 843-524-2777.
