WSAV-TV reporter and weekend anchor Holly Bounds announced on social media Sunday that she would be leaving the television station.
“... Today marked my last weekend at WSAV. I’m sad to leave my favorite work family but overjoyed to get back my real one on the weekends,” she posted on Facebook.
Bounds lives on Hilton Head Island with her husband and two daughters, according to WSAV.com. They are expecting their third child.
The station’s website says Bounds has worked there since January 2016 but also had been a reporter at the station for more than seven years earlier in her career.
Never miss a local story.
Bounds’ coworkers and viewers offered their well-wishes on social media.
Meteorologist Ariella Scalese tweeted photos of the staff. “Thank you @WSAVHollyB for all the love, guidance, and of course FUN on the weekends. You will be missed!” she posted.
Bounds’ Facebook post about leaving the station garnered more than 200 responses. Among them:
