Beaufort Memorial Primary Care has added a nurse practitioner to its medical staff, according to a news release.
Amy Wagner, ANP-BC, brings 17 years of experience as an advanced practice provider to the practice at 989 Ribaut Road.
After completing the master’s degree program for Adult Nurse Practitioner at Northern Kentucky University in 1999, she joined Beaufort Memorial Hospital, serving as an Intensive Care Unit nurse, clinical instructor and later nurse practitioner with the LifeFit Mobile Wellness Unit.
In 2003, she moved to Maryland and over the next 10 years worked in the field of geriatric and palliative medicine. She returned to Beaufort in 2013 to head up the hospital’s Bridge to Home transitional care program.
At Beaufort Primary Care, Wagner will be assisting Drs. Andrea Hucks, Steven Kessel and Robert Webb, in addition to having her own panel of patients.
